be jeweled

Communion By Joy

Communion - noun. The act of sharing one's thoughts and emotions with another or others; intimate converse

I have been sculpting jewelry for over 10 years. i studied some art history in college and dabbled in painting and drawing. My calling for jewelry design came when working at an art gallery, I realized that I, myself, wanted to be the artist. I started taking lost-wax carving classes at night and I was hooked! I feel my brand empowers strength with feminine elegance. It is modern vintage with a touch of bohemian flair.

My inspiration comes from nature and the mystery behind the veil of life. I love ritual and symbolism. I love to make jewelry that carries an energy of inner-strength and contains power from both the design and  stones.

I feel women who wear my jewelry have a strong sense of self and portray that in their style; women who have a penchant for art, travel and the spirit of life. The Communion woman is a lover and collector of jewelry, who connects emotionally to her pieces. I meditate before creating my designs and allow myself to be used as a creative vessel. All pieces are ethically sourced made from recycled gold, slightly one-of-a-kind and unique.
